In this day and age, opportunity is everywhere; yet the vast amount of choices and paths one can take can be paralyzing. For many working professionals - especially the younger generation, it’s often a question of choosing a career anchored in stability or taking the leap of faith and pursuing your passion. The sense of fulfillment is hard to come by - so how much is that a priority and what is the right balance for you?
This painting takes cue from skiing the terrain of a mountain ridge, to which I equate this crossroad of choices. Will you choose to traverse, trek uphill and onwards, or slide your way down a slope or even a cliff edge? One step at a time, all in or somewhere in between.
